But everything changed when she began using painting as a form of mindfulness.
Before she begins a new piece, Karen takes a deep breath, sets an intention, and allows her brush to move freely. Instead of focusing on the outcome, she plunges into the process — the feel of the paint, the movement of her hand, the play of colors on the canvas. With each stroke, she lets go of judgment and expectations, surrendering to the present moment.
